Individual therapy

Therapy is, first and foremost, an encounter between people. Unlike strictly cognitive-behavioral approaches, where the therapist positions themselves as an "expert" with identical protocols for every client and aimed at "correcting" symptoms, the humanistic and relational therapies I propose consider each client as a unique and different person and trust in the self-healing capacity of each system/organism.

The therapist takes nothing for granted and is, above all, curious and open. With their compassionate presence and unconditional acceptance, they offer the client a supportive space where their "defensive system" can relax, thus opening up the possibility of finding new avenues of action and new life positions.

The therapeutic process can vary in length (from a few weeks to several years) and frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly) depending on the reason for consultation. The reasons for consultation are numerous:

  • Depression and/or anxiety.

  • Phobias.

  • Trauma.

  • Support in grief and loss.

  • Obsessions.

  • Addictive behaviors related to substances or processes (eating, gambling, shopping, internet, pornography).

  • Impulse control.

  • Relational conflicts (family, relationship, work, etc.).

  • Difficulties in adolescence.

  • Postpartum difficulties.

  • Support for illness and chronic pain.

  • Difficult decision-making processes.

  • Desire for greater self-knowledge and personal growth.

My vocation is to accompany people toward greater well-being and greater mental and emotional health. I do so with a firm commitment to offering nonjudgmental listening and a calm, kind, and respectful presence.

Individual therapy sessions last 55 to 60 minutes.

What heals is not the guidelines and techniques, but the opportunity to be seen as a whole and valuable being.
